Trustee Advisory is a consultancy service for legal advisers, trustees, issuers and investors provided by David Norris, formerly Head of the Trust Management Department of The Law Debenture Corporation. It offers a wide range of trustee-related services, (including services to CONV.BIZ Ltd).
At Law Debenture, David had full management responsibility for handling high-level, high-profile and complex transactions. These included the Barings collapse, the British & Commonwealth and Heron Corporation insolvencies, the Railtrack standstill agreement, the restructurings at British Energy, Cirio, and Elektrim, and the defaults by the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Calcutta Electric Supply Company and by South East Asian corporate issuers.
At the request of the Bank of England he was invited to discuss with them and later with the G10 the use of trustees in sovereign debt issues and was also invited by IPMA to join their working group on looking at meeting provisions in trust deeds.
